Ecofan 800 Black and Brass
The 800 Series Ecofan is a heat powered fan designed
to circulate the warm air created by a wood-stove operating with normal
surface temperatures of between 65°C and 345°C. The optimal running temperature
of the wood-stove Ecofan is the same as the recommended safe operating
temperature for wood-stoves of between 205°C and 345°C. The Ecofan generates
it`s own electricity - so no need for batteries or mains power.
Increased
Efficiency and Comfort:
Warm air is circulated directly into the
living area rather than having most of the stoves heat rise immediately to the
ceiling, thereby increasing the heating efficiency of your stove. Improved warm
air circulation results in greater comfort and less fuel consumption. Many
people use the Ecofan to to help combat dry air. This can be done by positioning
the Ecofan behind a tray of water on top of the stove to boost the rate of
evaporation.
Fuel
Saving:
Testing carried out in collaboration with a leading Canadian
university has proven that using an Ecofan results in fuel savings of up to
14%.
Easy
Operation:
The Ecofan starts automatically and adjusts its speed with
the stove temperature. As the stove heats up, the Ecofan runs faster to move
more warm air into the room. As the stove burns down and cools, the Ecofan
automatically shuts off.
Size:
Base 100x75mm (4x3") - Height 233mm (9.25") from
base to top of blade, excluding handle. The Ecofan 800 generates up to 100 Cubic
feet (of air) per minute.
Costs
Nothing to Operate:
The Ecofan uses only the heat from the stove. The
Ecofan is the most economical way to efficiently circulate warm air. It does not
use any batteries and can be used where there is no electricity.
